Apprenticeship School schedule for the month of August, 2010 is as follows:

Apprenticeship Classes for the Fall Semester, 2010 will start September 11, 2010. Registration for Chattanooga State will be Wednesday August 25, 2010 @ 6:00 pm. 75.00$ registration fees will be due upon registration.

  The winner of the first annual District Council Apprenticeship Competition went to Local 167, Memphis TN.  Greg Crouse Training Director.

2nd place winner was Local 704, both Apprentices will compete in the National Compitition in Seattle WA. in sept, good luck to both men.

Welding Certifications, will be on wednesdays 7:30 am until 4:00pm. Any MEMBER interested in obtaining weld test certifications should contact James Lockhart at the Training Center @ 423)698-4198 for an appointment.

 

 Union Meeting will be 08/16/2010 @ 7:30 pm

All Apprentices should attend the union meetings that are held every 3rd Monday starting at 7:30 pm. All hours obtained through Union meetings count towards your classroom training.

 

Classes to be held in Aug 2010:

OSHA 10 Hour Safety will be held at the Training Center on Friday 08-06-2010, Starting @ 8:00am sharp

Standards of Excellence class will be held at the Local Union Hall saturday Aug 07,2010, starting @8:00 am sharp.

Welding practice will resume on wednesday nights starting @ 5:00pm on Aug 25, 2010
